About Out Front Hockey
Our Mission
Support players in staying out front of their competition by empowering them with the confidence to be first in line, be creative, be on the ice in big moments, and lead their peers while playing as a team. Center a world-class, individualized development model around a player and program’s needs, regardless of ability level, to help them reach their full potential on and off the ice. Provide a positive and engaging environment that develops technical skills and details, builds a strong foundation of good habits under pressure, and frees athletes to play fast, creatively, and as part of a team.
We’ll accomplish this by:
- Putting player development at the center of everything we do.
- Contextualizing our development model for the specific needs of the players and programs we support.
- Maintaining a high quality and experienced coaching staff that models the growth mindset we expect of our players and remains on the cutting edge of the latest techniques and tactics.
- Fostering a positive and engaging learning environment where players are encouraged to push beyond their current limits, be resilient, and have fun growing as hockey players.
- Providing actionable feedback to support players during each session as well as beyond.
- Using the latest tools, technology, and training aids to support player development and feedback.
- Providing high-tempo and realistic game-like situations to ensure that the skills and technical aspects we teach translate directly to impact in games.
